About Futopia

Futopia evolved as a concept after Nita Clish recognised a place in the market for a clinic dedicated to the health, as well as the appearance, of feet. Nita listened to her clients concerns as they wanted the clinical side of a chiropody treatment to not only ease the pain and discomfort of problem feet, but also to improve them aesthetically, as many were too embarrassed to show them off. Since starting off as a predominately foot focused Medi -Spa Nita has further expanded into all aspects of aesthetics, laser, holistic services and beauty. It became a passion for Nita to provide a tailor-made service to address the needs of her clients, hence she combined a team of foot health professionals, aesthetic, holistic and beauty therapists to work along side her.

Our aim is to provide the latest in high quality foot, hand and body-care techniques, and to source the very best products and equipment. We combine strict standards of clinical hygiene as all our equipment is either single use, disposable, or sterilised in our on-site autoclave.

Our focus is on the detail, ensuring you receive the best quality healthcare while also feeling pampered and indulged. We also stock a wide range of professional products and foot-care appliances. Please note if you have any Medical Health Plan Cover we can issue chiropody and holistic treatment receipts for you to claim back providing your plan covers. If you need any help our team of specialists are on hand to offer advice and product recommendations.

For Your CONSIDERATION.

We request that you arrive five minutes early for your appointment and please understand that we cannot guarantee your appointment if you arrive late. Late arrivals may have their service cut short but will still be charged full price for the appointment.

Cancellations

Here at Futopia we do our very best to get our customers an appointment at a time and date that is suitable for them. However, more often than not we have a cancellation list and a valued customer just like yourself is waiting for an appointment, so please give us at least 24 hours notice if you cannot make an appointment then we can re-allocate that appointment slot to someone else.

We require at least 24 hours notice about a cancellation or appointment change this includes appointments booked using gift vouchers.

Failure to attend an appointment will result in a fee of (up to the full price of the treatment booked) or forfeit of gift vouchers and a 50% deposit may be required for booking future appointments. Deposits may also be taken during busy times for treatments over an hour or more.

Gift vouchers

Are valid for a 12 month period only and cannot be redeemed after expiry date and they are non transferable/ non refundable. Failure to attend an appointment booked with a voucher may result in forfeit of that voucher.

** Due to COVID- 19 there is a temporary pause on treat cards at the moment once things get back up to normal you will be able to collect and redeem points again.**

At Futopia we offer treat cards to our regular customers. This loyalty scheme gives you the opportunity to try out new treatments or products for free!!!

You accumulate points on every visit, one point per pound spent so the more you visit the more free treats you gain!! Remember to bring your cards with you and if you lose, break or misplace a card the points can be transferred to a new card at a cost of £3.00.

Nita Clish M.Inst.Ch.P, CH.M

H.P.C Registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist and Company Director

Nita boasts unparalleled experience having worked as a Chiropodist in private practice for over 30 years. She is a Member of the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, and has also qualified with the higher Diploma in Chiropodial Medicine. Nita is also registered with the Health Professions Council and by incessantly updating her skills with continual professional development, In 2013 Nita became the first chiropodist in the north west to introduce Lunula laser for fungal nails to her practice, she will remain a pioneer of the industry for years to come.

Alicia Chauhan MCFHP, MAFHP

Foot Health Practitioner and Beauty Therapist

Alicia has been working at Futopia since 2012 as a beauty therapist; in December 2013 she qualified from the Smae Institute as a foot health practitioner. From there she has developed her skills further working under Nita and gaining valuable experience, as well as updating her skills with CPD she has had extensive training with Footbalance the leading orthotic range at Futopia. In 2017 Alicia obtained NVQ level 4 in laser core of knowledge and hair reduction. Alicia does a range of treatments from foot health treatments, orthotics and gate analysis, to laser hair removal, shellac nails, threading and waxing. Alicia always gives 100% to her customers and takes great pride in her work.

Monica is a brilliant holistic beauty therapist that has been with the Futopia team over five years having previously run her own business in Italy. Monica has over 20 years experience and having completed numerous additional courses such as trigger point massage and reflexology she is a real expert in the holistic and beauty industry. In 2017 Monica obtained NVQ level 4 in laser core of knowledge and hair reduction and more recently she has been trained in 3D lipo aesthetics, Hifu and 3D SkinTech non surgical technologies. Monica has an extensive understanding of the body and has an exceptional massage technique; her experience really shows through her treatments and her advice. Monica’s treatments are very professional and she can tailor a treatment to specifically suit you.

Dorothy Chauhan

Receptionist

Dorothy will most likely be the first person to greet you at futopia, she has many years experience as a receptionist and will make you feel very welcome. Dorothy has sat in on a lot of training and although she does not do the treatments herself she can advise you on most treatments, help you book and will make futopia feel like a home from home.
